Hello all! - Very excited to share and announce I have completed my very first oil painting titled; “Dreamers”! - This painting is a very longtime piece in the making, technically being my very first in-studio painting I started back way back in 2016 on a piece of wood, painted over and started again on masonite, and then again restarted and completed here on this canvas after I finished, “St. Alice of Portland”. I knew I needed to learn oils to complete a painting this intricate to achieve the results I wanted including richer depth, better saturation of colors, with more details and lifelike subjects that is nearly impossible to do with acrylics. I have always wanted to paint with oils and I took to it incredibly naturally. It is my passion and I will continue to get better and paint in oils forever.
