NEW PAINTINGS - ‘MOMENTS’ 2022 DIPTYCH
Hello!
This is my first news blog and my third painting titled, “MOMENTS”. It’s a diptych made up of two 36x48 canvas that can also work as individual paintings.
I painted this during the beginning of the first NFT hype cycle of early 2021. The character on the left was first created by me on my first iPad painting and minted as my first piece for my most recent NFT collection called Showdeer II. The girl on the right St. Alice of Portland is a character that has been featured in my previous two paintings as well.
There is a lot of symbolism in these pieces as is in all of my works. I won’t give away all secrets but some themes explored are; Doing something you shouldn’t do but do it anyways, epiphanies, feminism, religion and duality. If you want deep explanations of them you can ask me in my discord. There are also homages to some of my favorite artists including Dalí, Van Gogh, Vermeer and Matisse.
